We’re multifaceted people. We’re allowed to talk about what upsets, excites, scares and annoys us. This mentality that we should only focus on one aspect of ourselves is kinda silly. What you’re confusing for growth is just you being one dimensional 🤷🏾‍♀️

it’s wild that someone feels “clean” by avoiding talking about what upsets and scares and annoys people or working to challenge the systems that do, but then again, it’s the same dichotomy of those who are civil and quiet and good and those who are making a fuss and giving off “bad energy”. it’s transparent and it draws the line at those who the beneficiaries of the systems are, who is complicit in it
